As a young publishing house, we publish books on inspiration, spirituality, personal growth, complementary medicine, new science, management, and psychology. This also includes poetry, true stories, autobiographies, and card sets.
From manuscript to book

With Walking my Revolution Publishers, you have a committed publisher that offers you the ideal mix between the freedom of self-publishing and the peace of mind of a traditional publisher. You can order author copies and sell them through your own channels, but your publishing contract means you don't have all the stress, worries, and hassle of having to arrange and take care of everything yourself. All you have to do is write and enthusiastically promote your book after publication. We take care of the design, cover creation, layout, preparation for printing, distribution, and shipping. You will also receive support in promoting your book.
Sales through publishers, bookstores, and yourself
Your book is, of course, available via the Walking my Revolution Publishers webshop and via every (online) bookstore in the Netherlands and Belgium, such as Bol.com. In addition, as an author, you have the option of purchasing author copies from us, so that you can also sell your book via your own company, your events, or your own website.

What we offer you as an author
If there is a connection between you as the author, your book, and us as the publisher, you will receive a publishing contract for that book. This entitles you to the following services.
Support during the writing phase
If you are still in the writing phase, we are happy to help you think things through. From the approach and structure of your book to who you are writing for. If you need more help, we can assist you in finding a suitable writing coach.
Together, we will work at your pace to get the best out of your book and you as an author. We know better than anyone that publishing a book is a growth process, and we will give you the space and support you need to do so.
Editorial support
After writing comes the editing phase. This is when you have your book checked for spelling, grammar, and sentence structure. This part is usually at your own expense, but we are happy to help you determine the extent of editing required. If your work is of very good quality, the final corrections will be covered by your publishing contract.
Care formatting
As soon as your manuscript enters the editing phase or is ready, we will start working on the layout of your book. We will work with you to determine how we can best convey your message and take care of the layout.
We will also design a cover. If you have specific ideas, we will work with those. Otherwise, we will come up with one or more proposals that we will further optimize together.
Author's copies
You have the option to purchase author copies at cost price + service charges. This allows you to sell your book yourself via your website, practice, events, etc., at the fixed price of your book. This way, you have a higher margin on the book.
In any case, you will receive 10 copies free of charge upon publication of your book and 5 copies with each reprint.
Royalties
You will receive a royalty percentage of no less than 10-15% on sales of hardcover and paperback books. That may not seem like much, but as a publisher, you incur costs for printing, affiliation with CB, delivery of books via CB to (online) bookstores, shipping, and marketing. These are all things you don't have to worry about.
Book promotion
Your book will be promoted via our newsletter, website, and social media. You will also receive promotional material and a press kit, and we will be happy to help you with book signings or book promotion tours.
You may also be eligible to participate in joint events organized by the authors of Walking my Revolution Publishers. These include lectures, seminars, workshops, theme days, etc.
Multiple formats
Your work will be published in multiple formats. We will start with a paperback or hardcover edition, depending on the type of book you have.
If your book is suitable, it will also be published as an e-book and audiobook. The latter will, of course, be done in consultation and collaboration with you.
Online Academy
After signing your publishing contract, you will also gain access to our online academy for authors. There you will find tips, information about promoting your book yourself, forms, and more information about the publishing process and all your options within the publishing house.
WhatsApp group
Once your book is in the proofing stage, you will be added to our WhatsApp group for authors. There, we share great reviews and interviews, and you can ask questions and celebrate your successes. This allows us to motivate and support each other as authors.
