About Mariska Vlaar

Mariska Vlaar started writing poetry at the age of 18. When she took up photography a few years ago, she soon came up with the idea of combining the two in a book.

Nature photography has become her great passion. She can wander for hours through the countryside in search of that one perfect photo of a flower, a tree, an animal, or the landscape.

Every day in nature, poems also arise naturally in her mind. This is also an outlet for Mariska Vlaar. If she can touch or comfort others with this, then that is an added value and a piece of happiness for her.

Met liefde gezaaid (Sown with Love) is Mariska Vlaar's first book. She already has a new idea in mind for another book.
